The film is a fictional melodrama about sacrificing oneself for friendships. It depicts friendship as a fundamental power that supports life, and can accompany you through whatever: the darkest fears, traumas, pain and changes. But then again, relationships with friends can also be harrowing love stories which include heartbreaks, possessiveness and fear of losing someone.
