Fisherman and barber Chopol Parmanik lives in the Sundarbans delta—a region of mangrove forests, mudflats and agricultural land, close to the border of India and Bangladesh. He is also an accomplished player of the four-stringed dotara. This observational documentary shines light on Chopol’s life, home and the tradition of folk music he maintains.
