Following Beatriz’s death, her granddaughter Alice embarks on a journey through memories of her grandmother’s youth, a time shaped by the Brazilian civil-military dictatorship. During the 1970s, while still in high school, Beatriz witnessed those close to her disappear amidst the prevailing regime's authoritarianism. In these trying times, she confronts her deepest fears and emotions, realizing the need to remain resilient and fight for her ideals. Friendships, loss, self-discovery, and resistance permeate this coming-of-age story.
