Restoring You

Through pieces of Internet ephemera compiled from ASMR videos and the archives of Wikimedia Commons, Restoring You explores restoration as a compulsion that has no understandable purpose and no end. An experiment in visual poetry by filmmakers Fox Rinne and Josipa Anton, the film questions what is possible from the endless and continual bodily transition we seek, as well as the inevitability of annihilation. The film shows people obsessively trying to restore or create something to little or no avail. The film itself also attempts to restore you in the process.
