The series focuses on 'AlDub'—the phenomenal fictional pairing of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza (as Yaya Dub). The two characters communicate exclusively via split-screen frames using DubSmash audio clips and written notes, trying to maintain their long-distance love against the strict, comedic rules of Lola Nidora and her sisters.
