As a result, he’s always kept busy making sure the guests are satisfied. "Corrigez la fortune" is his motto. To play the role of fate imperceptibly and gently—that is what Hechinger aims to do, even if he does not always receive thanks and his interventions in other people’s affairs sometimes turn out to be missteps.
