In Long Distance, the cameras follow the journey of a role model from Cloetesville, Stellenbosch - the cross-country athlete Deon-Lee Hendricks who, with the help of his coach and the athletics legends Elana van Zyl and Zola Budd, prepares for the cross-country races that stand between him and his big dream : to catch the South African team that will compete in Australia.
