KTUU (Channel 2, Anchorage) documentary on the June 1996 Big Lake Fire (aka Miller's Reach Fire), which burned over 37,000 acres, temporarily severed the land connection between Anchorage and Fairbanks, destroyed 454 structures, and caused millions of dollars in damages.
