# Geng Tadarus The story follows Arlene, a widow who lost her husband and child in an accident. The tragic event frequently disturbs her sleep. She receives advice from a female Islamic teacher and is encouraged to draw closer to Allah. She begins learning about Islam under the guidance of a female teacher at her home. The resort in Langkawi left behind by her late husband is facing financial difficulties. Adam, the Resort's Financial Manager, suggests that Arlene seek advice and assistance from Hamdan, a bank manager who happens to be her former schoolmate. Arlene's schoolmates plan a trip to Langkawi Island to surprise her and will stay at her resort. Their arrival surprises Arlene. They begin sharing old stories and taking in the sea breeze at the beach. That evening they have sahur together and the next morning they begin a Qur'an recitation class. In the afternoon they sightsee around Langkawi town while shopping. Hamdan and Mariam have an old story from their school days.
