Season 11 of Shetland follows DI Ruth Calder and DI Alison “Tosh” McIntosh as they investigate skeletal remains discovered in a car pulled from the water. Their investigation leads them to the mysterious disappearance of a respected local GP who left Shetland nine years earlier amid rumours.
